அறிமுகம் :ஒரு மனிதன் தன் முதல் படைப்பை இப்படி அல்லவா செதுக்க வேண்டும் . முதல் பாதியில் காதலும் நகையும் , இரண்டாம் பாதியில் துரோகமும் பகையும் சேர்த்து கொடுதிர்கிறார் நமது புது இயக்குனர் .
Gist :
Well, the movie starts with the present day prison and a person
comes to visit a prisoner and tries to kill him in the process. Immediately, the story goes back to the 80's where there are 4 men, out of which one limps. The other 3 are Jai , Sasikumar(the director), and Ganja Karuppu. They prefer to stay mostly at their friend's radio service shop. These 3 loiter around the city, and so often, taken to task by Jai's family members who are his mom, his brother(a teacher) and his brother's wife. Besides roaming, they rely on the ex-counselor, who's brother(Samudharakani) takes care of these people and redeem them when they get jailed due to petty fights. Amidst all this, Jai and the ex-counselor's daughter Swathi exchange grins and glimpses with each other, irrespective of Sasi's warning who understands the problems about the same . Meanwhile, Ganja Karuppu mocks on the shop-keepers all around the town, inclusive of the shop where they stay. In an 
occasion, Samudharakani, the brother of the ex-counselor decides to chop off the opposing contestants , who is trying to stand for the same position and gain an adequate attention. So, he maltreats these 3 people to kill the candidate. While, Jai immediately accepts to do it out of sympathy towards the person who has helped them in tough times , the 3 successfully kill the candidate. The 2 leave Ganja Karuppu to take care of their family, and settle to surrender at the magistrate office. Unlikely, they get to know the fact that Samudharakani has manipulated them , yet they somehow get bailed out with the help of another accused, whom they get to be with in the jail. In turn, for this help, the 2 again get to kill someone else who is going against this accused. This time, Sasi quickly takes the offer for which they get paid as well. They also urge to kill Samudharakani, who had fiddled with their faith, by all means. With all this happening, the lovers get to see themselves, while this time, Samudhara
kani gets informed about this relationship.(Immediately, too many tweaks take place.) So, he decides to persuade Swathi and make use of her disapproving support to kill Jai. Later, Sasi jumps back to take off Samudharani's head, while loses his, in the process of getting betrayed by Ganja Karuppu for money. Finally, the scene gets back to the jail,where the director discloses that the prisoner who was attacked in the jail was Ganja Karuppu and the person who tried attacking was the person limping(fourth friend).Note : James Vasanthan - performs well and quite aptly tuned. Fine folk and a fabulous form of " Reethi Gowla" (kangal irandal) do a neat work in the drama. Kathir - Exceptional handling of camera, without many exceptions(errors). Good coverage of the city, and good attempt to provide novel angles in the 80's subject.

முதலில் இயக்குனர் நடிகராக மாறியது வரவேற்க தக்கது . மற்ற இயக்குனர்கள் போல முழு நீள ஹீரோ ஆகவும் இல்லாமல் , சிலரை போல கௌரவ தோற்ற நடிகராகவும் வராமல், பாக்கியராஜ் பாணியை போல நண்பர் கதாபாத்திரத்தை மிக அழகாக எடுத்து செய்திருக்கிறார். ஜெய்யை பற்றி சொல்ல
ணும் என்றால் , வாயில் சிரிப்பையும் பீடீயையும் வைத்து கொண்டு இறுதியில் சாகும் பொழுது அழகான , மெல்லிய காதல் உணர்வையும் பதிவு செய்கிறார். " அதுவும் உன்னதான் பாக்குது ... " என்று சொல்லம்போது ஏற்படுகின்ற உணர்வு புதுசாக இருக்கு. பிறகு , சுவாதி காட்டுகின்ற அழகும் அடக்கமும் அழகு. அனால், ஒரு பொழுதில், அவள் தோழி அவளிடம் , அவள் செய்வது காதலே இல்லை என்று சொல்லும்போது , அவள் மௌனம் , அது காதல் இல்லையோ என்று பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு ஒரு சந்தேகம் ஏற்படிகிறது . மீண்டும் , அவளின் சிறு பிள்ளைத்தனம், கடைசியில் அவள் அழுதிகிட்டே ஜெய்யை காட்டிகொடுப்பதில் லேசாக confirm ஆகுது . சமுதிரகனியின் villain role மிக அற்புதமாக வெளி வந்திருக்கிறது . அவர் police station இடம் செய்யும் blank phone call " இங்க சுப்ரம்ன்யபுரதில சண்ட , கொஞ்சம் வந்து பாக்கறிங்களா " , அவர் தான் செய்கின்றார் என்று தெரியும்போது , அங்கே பார்வையாளர்க்கு உச்ச கட்ட shock. அதில் ஆரம்பிச்சது தான், அதிலிருந்து , சுவாதியின் ஏமாற்றம், ஜெய்யின் மரணம் , கஞ்சா கருப்பின் துரோகம், சசியின் மரணம் என்று அடுக்கி தள்ளிருக்கிறார் . : சில திரை அரங்குகளிலே சுவாதியின் சாவையும் காட்டிருகிறார்கள் . ) "இரண்டு கண்களால் கட்டி இழுப்பது , சித்தன் radio services யில் சிறு பொன்மணி அசையில் தெறிக்கும் இசை கேட்பது , சித்தனுக்கு லந்து கொடுப்பதே தொழிலாக வைத்திருக்கும் காசி , " என்ன பரமா , அதுவும் தான் என்ன பாக்குது, அவங்களுக்கு தெரிஞ்சா, என்ன தோல உறிபாங்களா , நாம என்ன சொம்பயா , போடா " என்று சொல்லிகிற அழகர் , " மனுஷனுக்கு ஒரு மயக்கம் இருந்தா பரவா இல்ல , உனக்கு காதல் மயக்கம் வேற " .... " டேய் காசி ,கத்தி எடு டா , குடு டா , டேய் , குடு டா " , என்கிற பரமன் , பார்வையிலே பல்டி அடிச்சாளா அல்லது பாசத்துக்கு பலி ஆனாளா என்று தெரியாமலே இருக்கும சுவாதி ....................................................................... சூப்பராக இருக்கும் "சுப்ரமணியபுரம்" !!!
