The Roger-Roddick rostrum has been framed yet again, and this time yet again, it is the Wimbledon final. After a couple of final encounters earlier in the decade, the Wimbledon 2009 is ready to witness just another freaky final fray between the astute American and the Defending Champion on Sunday, the fifth of July.
After a veritable victory against the better seeded Djokovic, Tommy Haas had
to meet the Swiss Superior, Roger Federer in the Semi Finals. The master was too good for the young German, who tried to give his best throughout the match. Despite the faithful attempts of the 24 seeded German, the fitful nature of the game found the name of the furious Federer at the end of every set. The world no. 2 sealed his victory against the heedful Haas and ended up with 7-6, 7-5, 6-3. Yet again, we observe that the elegance enters the final stage of the English Drama. On the other hand, it was the Andy's-clash that would decide the other finalist of the Drama. Being the better of the semi-final that any spectator in Britain or anywhere in the
world would watch, the game kicked-off with both the Andy's taking charge. After Roddick's 5 set encounter in the quarter final with the veteran Hewitt, he had to get through this to stay alive in the Championships. As far as the local boy was concerned, he was supported throughout the competition irrespective of the complete presence of his dominance. However, after Roddick's capture of the first set, the tone of the game was set. The modern-day Mc Enroe, Murray grew a little mercurial on his way to redeem himself back into the game, but Roddick's puissant serving and positive living in the court allowed the American get through the better seeded star.Well, its all set and strengthened now to behold the better holding the trophy, the better of the Swiss star and the U.S. exemplar.

Good read. Actually this situation is a refreshing change from the usual occurrence of Nadal-Federer matches!
Good read. . One feels fedex would have his way in the final without much of a problem.. Had it been murray in place of roddick in the final then federer would've got a run for his money considering the fact that murray has beaten him three or four times..
yes you are right vikram! Murray has a strong back-hand which hardly players have today(incl Fed). He was just unlucky in both the ti-breakers against Rod.
Thanks,
