Oscar Awards 2010 Tour - An Exclusive Eye

Academy President Sid Ganis has announced that the 82nd Academy Awards will be presented in Hollywood’s Kodak theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Anne Hathaway, 2008 Oscar-nominated actress and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak presented the list of nominees of the Oscar Awards 2010 recently.


A maximum of nine nominations were given to the films like The Avatar and The Hurt Locker. They also compete for the world's biggest number of honors. Oscar Academy Award 2010 expected nominees of actors are - Jeff Bridges in "Crazy Heart", George Clooney in "Up in the Air", Colin Firth in "A Single Man", Morgan Freeman in "Invictus" and Jeremy Renner in "The Hurt Locker", while the actresses being - Sandra Bullock in "The Blind Side",Meryl Streep in "Julie & Julia", Carey Mulligan in "An Education", Helen Mirren in "The Last Station", and Gabourey Sidibe in "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire". Speaking about animation pictures - Coraline, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Princess And The Frog, and The Secret Of Kells. While the nominations of foreign films this year included Ajami, El Secreto de Sus Ojos, The Milk of Sorrow, Un Prophete, The White Ribbon, the Best Director nominations had James Cameron - Avatar, Kathyn Bigelow - The Hurt Locker, Quentin Tarantino - Inglourious Bastards, Lee Daniels - Precious, Jason Reitman - Up In The Air.
